Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope

Project Name: Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope

Role: UI Technical Artist

I joined UBISOFT Paris in 2022 and immediately jumped in during the production cycle of Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope as UI Technical Artist, and worked on the main game.

After the release of Mario + Rabbids: Spark of Hope I was directly involved in the development of all downloadable content (DLCs) again as UI Technical Artist. This position gave me the chance to tackle new systems and menus, new opportunities for skill development.

I worked also on the demo we released a bit after the main game.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Working with Snowdrop game engine, developing UI navigation and logic
  • Exporting mockups and helping on integration of UI elements
  • Collaboration with many teams (UX, UI artist, gameplay programmers and sound designer) to help them to integrate all elements in menus and HUD
  • Bug fixes and performance maintenance
